Green Building Council España | Webinar ” Digitalization: The opportunities for Circular Economy”

11 Nov 21

During the webinar, our partner ITeC will explain how the HOUSEFUL project is contributing to the definition of a new circular economy model in the Building sector.

In Circular Economy it is emphasized that buildings are considered the quarry of tomorrow or material banks; and on the other hand, it is advocated to optimize its useful life through maintenance and rehabilitation operations. To achieve these objectives, it is essential to have the right information, in the right format and at the right time, and this is where the building’s digital book can be a key tool.

In this debate will be higlighted the initiatives that seek to improve access to information in the building, in order to better plan its maintenance and rehabilitation and to give economic value to the materials embedded in it.

Where does the public initiative arrive and where does the private one?
What role does the user have to play: how to ensure commitment? How to think about the interaction with the book?
Utilities that may arise: Ability to influence the purchase and sale value of real estate? Optimize consumption management? Document the economic (residual) value of a property?
