The voice of HOUSEFUL keeps spreading throughout Europe
The HOUSEFUL project was presented to local companies and policy makers during an event in Salamanca (Spain)
Two presentations on HOUSEFUL were given at a regional event on Circular Economy in Cities in Salamanca (Spain) on the 18th of July 2019. The event focused on the need for change in the actual production, consumption and distribution models, in favour of a more sustainable approach. It was promoted by the Regional Government and targeted mainly regional companies and local and regional administrations.
Both presentations were given by the CARTIF technology center, partner of HOUSEFUL: the first one, on circular metabolism in cities, by Dolores Hidalgo, Director of the Circular Economy Area; the second one, on circularity in buildings, by Juan Castro, also researcher in the same area as Mrs Hidalgo.
The event turned out to be yet another chance to spread the voice about HOUSEFUL and its innovative solutions. These are key steps for a successful uptake of the project’s approach and, hence, to enable the transition from the linear to the circular model in the housing sector.
