On 5th of September, Juan Castro from the CARTIF Technology Center, member of the HOUSEFUL consortium, presented HOUSEFUL at the meeting of the AEICE (the cluster of efficient habitat) in Valladolid (Spain). The event was a good chance to discuss with stakeholders from the construction and services sector about key aspects of the HOUSEFUL project such as circular economy and ecodesign in buildings.

AEICE is a private non-profit association fostering the social and economic development in the Autonomous Community of Castile and Leon in Spain. It is a cluster of one hundred members encompassing the entire value chain of the habitat and efficient construction sector. AEICE develops actions aimed at promoting business competitiveness and the transformation of the construction industry.

“It was great to join the meeting and disseminate HOUSEFUL”, said Castro. “I could meet people from different areas related with the building and construction sector, such as light manufacturers, architects from different companies, engineers from the College of Public Works Engineers and Civil Engineers and acoustic isolation companies, among others. They did not know HOUSEFUL and the adoption of HOUSEFUL’s solutions will be a great opportunity for them to make their sectors more circular”
